Rhubarb, rhubarb, rhubarb……in the Kitchen Garden

Harvesting this wonderful plant is always a joy. Stems selected, leaves removed. Rinsed in rainwater, chopped , then stewed.

    Hey Nick, great to see the website up and running and with such a lot of useful information. Down here in Antarctica it’s pretty dark now that the last sunrise has been and gone until August. Your rhubarb looks wonderful and tasty and the idea of picking from the garden is like a dream to us now that most of our fresh fruit and veg has finished.
    We will be watching your blog to see how things progress and pick up ideas for our own house – and it keeps us in contact with the outside world!
